It’s not unusual for an artist like Miley Cyrus to switch up her outfit at the same event. However, when she does, it always carries a message. On May 16th, during the 2022 NBC Upfronts in New York City, the “Wrecking Ball” singer made a statement by donning two dresses that perfectly matched her recent rocker-glam style.
Cyrus definitely knows how to rock both casual and dressy styles, giving us the best of both worlds. Whether you’re planning a night out with your special someone or just hanging out with friends, her looks are sure to inspire you. For a recent appearance at Radio City Music Hall, she donned a form-fitting black waffle-knit dress that oozed sex appeal. Later on, she changed into a stunning red off-the-shoulder style that perfectly matched her metallic strappy heels. The dress featured a unique one-sided cold-shoulder design with dual high leg slits that reminded us of the red dancing emoji.
In keeping with the fashion of the 1980s, Miley Cyrus styled her hair – a mix of blonde and black – into a side part, incorporating large-framed sunglasses and strategically placing some of her hair to block them. She accessorized with a simple diamond tennis necklace and small gold hoops, keeping the hardware to a minimum. To complete her ensemble, Cyrus added a silver-chained Dior belt to cinch the waist of her red dress. The NBC event was a star-studded affair with other celebrities such as Pete Davidson, the cast of Peacock’s Bel Air, Seth Meyers, and various actors promoting their upcoming appearances on the network’s new and ongoing series.
To wrap up the event, the vocalist gave a stunning performance of her own track “Wrecking Ball” and also covered Madonna’s classic hit “Like a Prayer.” If you haven’t had the opportunity to witness Miley Cyrus’ take on this late 80s mega-anthem before, you are missing out! The former Disney star was present to promote the comeback of her New Year’s Eve special entitled Mileyโs New Yearโs Eve Party Hosted by Miley Cyrus, which has been approved. However, we have yet to receive confirmation if comedian Pete Davidson, who is also a cast member of SNL, will be joining her as co-host. We can only hope!
