Cyrus started her academic journey at Heritage Elementary School but later switched to Options for Youth Charter Schools in Los Angeles when she got the opportunity to play on Hannah Montana. She grew up in a Christian family and was even baptized in a Southern Baptist Church. Attending church regularly, she wore a purity ring during her youth. On-screen, Cyrus made her first appearance as Kylie in Doc.
Additionally, Miley Cyrus has made appearances in other films such as Big Fish and The Adventures of SharkBoy and Lava Girl 3-D. Her big break, however, came with the hit television series Hannah Montana. To pave the way for her success, Miley’s mother took on the role of her manager. Initially, Miley auditioned for the part of the lead character’s best friend.
Despite facing tough competition, she managed to secure the lead role owing to her exceptional acting and singing skills. The show proved to be a major hit both in terms of popularity and commercial success, turning her into a household name. Riding on the wave of her newfound fame, she even got the opportunity to tour with The Cheetah Girls as Hannah Montana.
Beginning her journey in the entertainment industry, this kickstarted her music career, ultimately giving us hit tracks such as See You Again, Ready Set Don’t Go, I Thought I Lost You, and The Climb. As the years went by, she strived to portray herself as a mature artist and took on roles such as the lead in the movie adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ book, The Last Song. Additionally, she graced our screens as a host on Saturday Night Live in 2011 and as a judge on The Voice.
Throughout her career, Miley Cyrus has produced numerous chart-topping songs including Malibu, Can’t Be Tamed, and Nothing Breaks Like a Heart. At just 14 years old, Miley revealed to her mother that she identified as pansexual. In 2015, she publicly came out as a gender-fluid individual. While Miley has had various romantic relationships, she tied the knot with Liam Hemsworth in 2016. Unfortunately, they ended their marriage in 2020 and Miley has since been romantically linked to Kaitlynn Carter and Cody Simpson.
