In the Fast and Furious universe, death seems to have lost its significance. It’s no longer a major event, as characters who appear to have died in one movie often reappear in later installments without any explanation. While some might see this as a cheap storytelling device, we view it as part of the franchise’s charm – a series that has long ditched realism in favor of over-the-top action and thrills. The latest installment, Fast X, takes things to a new level by revealing that Gal Gadot’s character Gisele Yashar, who appeared to have died in the sixth movie, is actually still alive. Gadot defended Gisele’s miraculous survival when asked by fans, pointing out that we never saw any mangled remains.
Gal Gadot, who played Gisele in the Fast Furious franchise, recently appeared on Hot Ones and shared her experience of witnessing one of the wildest stunts during filming. She recalled a scene where they shut down the roads on one of the Canary Islands and set a huge truck and several expensive cars on fire during the day. Gadot praised the franchise’s insane set pieces involving cars, trains, rockets, airplanes, and other vehicles. The Fast Furious franchise’s next installment, Fast 11, will be directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel, with a scheduled release date of April 4, 2025. A Luke Hobbs-centric movie is also confirmed to bridge the narrative gap between Parts One and Two.
