The possibility of a third ‘Wonder Woman’ movie has been crushed, which is a sad news for Gal Gadot who had expressed her willingness to be a part of it.
While the Israeli actress was previously given reassurance by James Gunn and Peter Safran, who head DCU, that a ‘Wonder Woman 3’ movie would be produced, recent information has come to light stating that no promises were ever made. Moreover, neither Gunn nor Safran have any intentions of creating a film centered around the character.
At present, the two individuals are concentrating on creating a fresh edition of DC. They have plans to work on movies like ‘Superman: Legacy’ and ‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold.’ It’s plausible that one of the reasons why Gadot’s venture got cancelled is due to the higher management’s determination to commence anew and establish an entirely novel DC realm.
It caused quite a stir among fans when news of Gadot’s possible reprising of her role as Wonder Woman emerged. Meanwhile, other actors such as Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Jason Momoa had already moved on from their respective roles, which only fueled the fans’ disappointment.
